On November 17, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Atdayev informed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov about ongoing preparatory work for the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and the business forum together with Azerbaijan during an online government meeting. The events will take place in Ashgabat on November 27-28 this year, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Atdaev noted that the delegations of companies specialising in the oil and gas industry, textile industry, agriculture, food production, construction, building materials production, pharmaceutical industry, transport and logistics and information technology will take part in the business forum.
Atdaev said representatives of the business communities of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan are to hold bilateral meetings and talks. Following the forum, the parties are expected to sign documents.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that business meetings should focus on new areas of bilateral cooperation. In this regard, the President instructed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers to organise and conduct the upcoming events in a proper manner.
