On November 11, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Arkadag City. He reviewed the projects of facilities to be built at the second construction stage in the city of national importance, the Turkmenistan Today National News Agency reported.
The Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty reviewed the projects of reconstruction of existing roads in the vicinity of the “smart city” and construction of new bridges and ring bypass roads. He visited the future construction sites of road and transport infrastructure facilities.
The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty made some comments and changes to the projects and held a working meeting with Chairman of the State Committee for Arkadag City Construction under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov and Arkadag City Hyakim Shamuhammet Durdylyev.
The National Leader emphasised that the ongoing works must meet international standards, modern requirements and the national principles of urban planning.
