Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan bolster cooperation in logistics sector

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks in Tashkent. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit and focused on promoting partnerships in industrial cooperation and logistics between the two countries, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The interlocutors positively evaluated the efforts towards strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. They also noted significant progress in promoting strategic partnerships and alliance.

The interlocutors also discussed expanding trade turnover and implementing joint projects in logistics and industrial cooperation.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit. The Summit, which is taking place on November 8-9, has brought together leaders and executive representatives of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey and other ECO Member States.
