Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov and Director General of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture & Food Safety Authority, CEO of E20 Investment Limited Saeed Al Ameri held a working meeting in Uzbekistan. The agenda focused on bilateral cooperation under a fruit and berry cluster project in Andijan Region, the press office of the Government of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The parties agreed to continue cooperation between E20 Investment and Uzbekistan. First of all, it is planned to continue working on the project in Andijan Region. The second project phase envisages growing 6,000 tonnes of the most effective bilberry and blueberry varieties annually. The parties also discussed opportunities to step up the implementation of the initiative.
The UAE businessmen noted positive changes taking place in Uzbekistan’s economy over the past few years and expressed gratitude to the authorities of the Republic for supporting the implementation of the project.
