Today, 31 enterprises in Tajikistan produce macaroni products, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.
According to statistics, the Republic has produced 6,300 tonnes of macaroni products for the first three quarters of the year, which is much less than needed: the domestic demand stands at 13,900 tonnes per year.
There are 9 macaroni factories in Dushanbe. In January-September 2023, 3,900 tonnes of macaroni products were produced in the capital city, which is 62% of total macaroni production in the Republic.
Recently, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali have put into operation 7 new industrial enterprises in Dushanbe. These enterprises produce carpets, textiles, confectionery, oil, electrical equipment and macaroni products, among others.
After putting the macaroni production line into operation at the Shahri Zeboi Mo enterprise, President Rahmon visited a commodities exhibition of the enterprise.
