President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov met with Chief of Asia-Pacific & Africa Investments at Qatar Investment Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ooredoo Group Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Al Thani. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports in the Telegram channel that the Sheikh arrived in the Republic to strengthen investment cooperation.
Ooredoo Group is a Qatari multinational telecommunications company headquartered in Doha, Qatar. The company provides mobile, wireless, wireline and other telecommunications services, including digital television and fibre optic network.
President Japarov expressed belief that the visit of the expert group will bolster close investment cooperation between the two countries. He expressed gratitude to Sheikh Faisal Bin Thani Al Thani for his contribution to attracting Qatari investors to Kyrgyzstan.
Japarov emphasised that Kyrgyzstan is seeking to promote investment cooperation and ready to provide necessary information on investment projects. The country is actively working to create a favourable investment climate.
