On October 20, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov to hold the XXVIII International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2023» (OGT-2023) at a high level during an online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers. The events will take place in Ashgabat on October 25-27, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the energy industry is one of the main sectors of the national economy. The President highlighted the great importance of the international conference and exhibition that will showcase the achievements of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas industry.
The President said this kind of forums open up great opportunities to intensify mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners in this sector on an equal and mutually beneficial basis. Berdimuhamedov emphasised that the international forum should focus on the exchange of views with foreign companies on development trends in the industry.
