President of Turkmenistan to take part in meeting of CIS Heads of State Council in Bishkek

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov will take part in a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in Bishkek on October 13. He, together with the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, will sum up the results of cooperation within the organization, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.

First, the meeting will be held in a narrow format, and then with the participation of delegations. The parties will discuss the development of partnership in trade, investment, security, combating terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking and corruption.

Following the meeting, a big package of documents will be signed.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov took part in a regular meeting of the Council of CIS Foreign Ministers on October 12. He, together with the heads of diplomatic departments, discussed cooperation in a multipolar world, promotion of the Russian language, digitalization, improvement of judicial work, development of tourism and sports. The next meeting will take place in Minsk on April 12, 2024.
