After amendments are made to the Constitutional Law On the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, adopted by the parliamentarians and signed by the President, the constitutional control body may review its decisions in the same way as the Supreme Court does, the press office of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov reports.
In accordance with new Article 521, any decision of the Constitutional Court can be revised or cancelled if the Constitution is amended, new facts emerge, or the decision contradicts the moral and ethical values of the people of Kyrgyzstan.
«The Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic makes a decision on the revision of a previously adopted act by which it amends or cancels this act. The procedure for revising a decision of the Constitutional Court is determined by the Resolutions of the Constitutional Court,» the press office reported.
The new law comes into force after official publication.
