Russian film director Alexey Uchitel plans to shoot his next film in the beautiful country of Uzbekistan. He spoke about this at the Tashkent International Film Festival, Sputnik reported.
Uchitel shared his plans during a master class for young film directors.
The main idea of the new project is the life and work of a composer Dmitry Shostakovich. One of the most key episodes of the film will take place in Uzbekistan.
Uchitel noted that filming is scheduled for February 2024 and will take place in Tashkent and Samarkand.
Alexey Uchitel invited young talents of Uzbekistan’s film industry to acquire practical skills on a film set. This will be an excellent opportunity for young film directors to watch and learn from Russian actors.
