Tajik businesses invited to arrange exhibition in Belarus

Dushanbe hosted the 16th meeting of the Belarus-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus Sergei Bartosh and his counterpart from Tajikistan Kurbon Khakimzoda attended the meeting, BelTA reports the details.

The Belarus-Tajikistan Business Council held a meeting in the framework of the Commission. The participants focused on promoting business relations and expressed readiness to support cooperation between the business circles of the two countries.

Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Denis Meleshkin noted that the Business Council serves as an important platform for strengthening ties between businesses of the two countries and overcoming barriers to trade and economic interaction. He also invited his counterparts from Tajikistan to arrange a national exhibition in Belarus and take part in major exhibition projects.

The meeting resulted in signing 13 bilateral documents, including cooperation agreements and supply contracts worth over $16 million. Businessmen from the two countries continued B2B talks.
