President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev paid a working visit to Berlin where he held talks with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz. The interlocutors held a press conference on the outcomes of the high-level talks, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported the details in the Telegram channel.
In his speech, Tokayev highlighted the special importance of promoting cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany and assured that today’s high-level talks illustrated once again the mutual desire of the countries to deepen Kazakh-German relations.
The Kazakh leader noted that in the current conditions, the two countries require the most pragmatic approach to the implementation of new investment projects aimed at achieving sustainable development of Kazakhstan and Germany.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev emphasised that an important aspect of the talks was the prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the countries. He said Kazakhstan and Germany agreed to work towards expanding the range of exports and imports.
