Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev meets with Prime Ministers of Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev held a meeting with the heads of government of Russia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan. In his welcoming speech, he thanked the Prime Ministers for supporting the Innoprom. Kazakhstan exhibition, which is taking place for the first time in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Telegram channel of Akorda reported.

«Undoubtedly, your participation in the exhibition has given it a special status and serves as another confirmation of our close trade and economic cooperation. It’s gratifying that the event is now turning into a sustainable business platform,» the President of Kazakhstan said, greeting the Prime Ministers.

Tokayev noted that the exhibition helps potential partners and investors learn about the achievements of the industrial sector of the participating countries and find new opportunities for cooperation. The President said such projects contribute to boosting trade among the EAEU Member States.

Speaking about relations between Kazakhstan and each of the countries, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev noted the high pace of mutually beneficial activities in the trade, investment and industrial sectors with Russia, spoke positively about the experience of cooperation with Belarus in the production of agricultural machinery and focused on «the positive dynamics in bilateral trade» with Kyrgyzstan. The President highlighted the importance of promoting industrial interstate cooperation and expressed hope that opportunities for cooperation would be advanced.
