The CIS Council for Cultural Cooperation of the CIS Member States held a meeting in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The issues under discussion included the cultural events in 2021–2025, the press office of the CIS Executive Committee reported the details.
The members of the Council noted the high level of organisation of the St. Petersburg — the Cultural Capital of the Commonwealth 2023 Interstate Programme and considered promoting cooperation in cinematography; the establishment of the International Creative Association of Film Organisations was approved.
The participants discussed the implementation of major events as part of cultural cooperation among the CIS Member States in 2021–2025 and the state cultural policy of Kyrgyzstan.
As was reported, the members of the Council discussed preparatory work on the Art Expo International Exhibition of the CIS Member States, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan in 2024.
