The Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz diaspora and the association of Kyrgyz students held a solemn event in Turkey to mark the 32nd anniversary of independence of Kyrgyzstan, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan» reported the details of the festive event.
The groups of students from Kyrgyzstan, who are studying in Turkey, performed at the festive ceremony. Along with songs and dances, the students prepared a programme of cultural events, including national games.
Consul General Lira Sydykova addressed her compatriots. She emphasised the importance of cohesion and unity of the Kyrgyz people at home and abroad. She highlighted the importance of the path of development and formation of sovereign Kyrgyzstan.
The Consul spoke about the measures taken by the Consulate General to support migrant workers in Turkey and to protect the interests and rights of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The participants of the event could receive legal advice on the issues of interest from the consulate staff.
