Kazakhstan Khalkyna reports to President on its charitable activities

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev received Chairman of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Social Fund Bolat Zhamishev, the Telegram channel of Akorda reports.

Bolat Zhamishev reported to the President that the Fund is successfully developing a model of charity on a national scale. The Fund adheres to the core principles of public finance management, such as transparency, accountability and legitimacy. It makes a significant contribution to fostering philanthropy in the country.

He emphasised that the Fund’s activities are based on the trust of people. Its charitable projects have a significant impact on and contribute to the development of various spheres of life of society.

Bolat Zhamishev noted that the Fund finances more than 40 charitable programmes worth 146.5 billion tenge. These programmes are aimed at addressing key problems of citizens of Kazakhstan in healthcare, education, social support, culture and sports. The Fund also provides emergency aid and implements programmes throughout the country.
