Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with CEO of Vision Invest from Saudi Arabia Omar N. Al-Midani in Tashkent. The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation between the countries in healthcare, transport, logistics, water treatment and education, the press office of the Government of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
During the talks, the parties agreed to launch new projects. Vision Invest gained access to over $96 million in assets.
Its main area of activity is the implementation of integrated infrastructure projects in energy, water supply, construction and transport; the company employs about 9,500 people.
This is not the first partnership between Uzbekistan and foreign companies. Earlier, Uzbekistan reached an agreement with Turkish ERG International Group that works in the hydropower sector and builds wastewater treatment plants.
