First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kairat Umarov paid a working visit to Argentina to take part in the fourth round of inter-MFA political consultation, Forbes-Kazakhstan reported.
Kairat Umarov held talks with an Argentine delegation headed by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Argentina Pablo Anselmo Tettamanti. The interlocutors discussed pressing issues of the global agenda and agreed to continue strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
First Deputy Minister Umarov took part in the official opening and flag raising ceremony at the building of the first Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the capital of Argentine. Together with Umarov, Director Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentine Claudio Giacomino attended the ceremony.
As reported, the opening of a representative office of Kazakhstan in Buenos Aires will give a powerful impetus to trade and economic relations between the countries and contribute to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of Kazakhstan in Argentina.
