On August 22, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China Han Zheng and Chairman of the Upper House of the Parliament of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali held a meeting in Beijing, the Telegram channel ru.people.cn. reported.
Han Zheng stressed that relations between China and Tajikistan are developing thanks to the strategic leadership of the leaders of the two countries and bring fruitful results.
He noted that China is ready to support important agreements between the two leaders, enhance cooperation and contribute to the common prosperity, particularly, to work together to strengthen security and international coordination to protect strategic security and development interests of the two countries.
Han Zheng invited Tajikistan to join the «express» of China’s economic growth and modernise its economy. Rustam Emomali confirmed that Tajikistan views the promotion of relations with China as a priority and considers China as a reliable partner. He said the Republic is ready to deepen cooperation in various fields to boost relations between Tajikistan and China.
On the same day, Emomali met with Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China He Lifeng.
