Rahmon opens metal structures plant in Khorog

On August 17, a new metal structures plant was put into operation in Khorog. The opening ceremony took place during the working trip of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The plant established by the Pamir-Energoservis builds high-voltage transmission lines in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, the Khovar National News Agency of Tajikistan reports.

The enterprise employs 30 residents of Khorog, who earn from 2,500 to 3,000 somoni. The company hired professional welders and engineers who can fulfil any order in the shortest possible time. In total, the company employs 65 residents of cities and districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

The plant produces a wide range of metal structures, including electrical boxes, iron gates, household appliances, lighting towers and high-voltage equipment. The plant located near the Khorog-Murghab-Kulma transnational highway is one of the industrial facilities of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region.

When visiting the enterprise, Emomali Rahmon praised the entrepreneur for creating new jobs and highly evaluated the construction of the industrial enterprise.
