The banks and credit institutions in Tajikistan are negotiating with Russian partners the connection to the Fast Payment System (FPS), however, there is no information about the start of operations so far, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan Firdavs Tolibzoda said, TASS reports.
Tolibzoda noted that the banking system of Tajikistan is actively cooperating in this area with the Russian banks. However, there is no information about the measures taken to connect Tajik banks to the Fast Payment System.
The First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan added that many credit institutions in Tajikistan are working with the Russian partners, including Sberbank and Tinkoff, to make payments from the country.
14 financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan process FPS transactions from Russia. 5 banks in Russia provide this service.
