In 2023, it is planned to build 312 buildings of educational institutions and additional buildings in Tajikistan. Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rakhim Saidzoda made this statement at a press conference. The new buildings will provide additional 68,138 places for children, Khovar reports.
Over the past period, 30 educational institutions and additional buildings for 8,632 places at 4 educational institutions have been built and put into operation. As part of the action plan marking the 35th anniversary of state independence of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education and Science plans to build another 16 facilities.
«Currently, the construction has been completed on 5 facilities, and they have been put into operation. The construction on 10 facilities is underway, and one facility is to be designed this year,» the Minister of Education and Science said.
These construction projects aim to improve the education infrastructure and ensure that there are sufficient school and kindergarten places. Once implemented, these plans will provide the best conditions for education and development of young people in Tajikistan.
