New Industrial and Logistics Park to open in Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited the construction site of the EuroAsia GROUP Industrial and Logistics Park in Kara-Suu district during his working trip to Osh and Osh Region. The five-hectare Park was built to support domestic investors and boost production in the regions, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

According to the project, there will be three large production facilities in the Park: a knitting garment factory, a knitted fabric factory and a yarn factory. As of today, 70 percent of construction work on the Park has been completed.

A garment factory, which will create 800 jobs, is to be put into operation in the fourth quarter of the current year. The largest portion of goods will be exported.

The knitted fabric factory is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024. This factory will create 300 jobs and produce up to 20 tonnes of fabric daily. The spinning mill that will manufacture up to 15 tonnes of thread per day is scheduled to be launched in the third quarter of 2025.

After inspecting the progress on the implementation of the construction project, Sadyr Japarov emphasised that the state will always support honest entrepreneurs and create an enabling environment for their business activities. Particular attention will be paid to boosting production.
