On July 27, the Innovations in Traumatology and Orthopaedics Republican Science and Practical Conference, involving international experts, started at the Astana Medical University, the press office of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan reported.
The conference has brought together experts in traumatology, orthopaedics and related specialties from Kazakhstan and foreign countries. The main issues under discussion include the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders and the adoption of innovations at healthcare institutions.
The programme of the conference includes master classes, during which experts from Russia, China, Turkey, Germany, India, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan demonstrate complex surgeries and share experience.
Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azhar Giniyat emphasised the need to actively use advanced technologies and international achievements and improve the skills of trauma surgeons and orthopaedic surgeons. The conference marks the 80th anniversary of Doctor of Medicine, a full member of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Alibek Zhanpeisovich Abdrakhmanov.
