The Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship allocated funds to send children who had complicated surgeries to the «Dayanch» children’s recreation center. The facility is located on the territory of the «Avaza» national tourist zone. This was reported by the newspaper «Turkmenistan».
Children who had surgeries paid for by the Berdimuhamedov Fund will be sent to the center. Ogulmakhri Geldiyeva, the head of the press center of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, spoke about the trip.
She noted that citizens of the state regularly transfer money to the account of the organization. According to her, the funds made it possible to buy new ambulances and equipment for children’s departments of medical institutions.
In total, the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship paid for complicated surgeries for 140 children with congenital disorders. The organization was established in March 2021.
