First officers from Iran and Korea graduate in Kazakhstan

A solemn graduation ceremony of the military specialists from Iran and the Republic of Korea, who had completed the master’s degree programme, took place at the National Defence University of Kazakhstan, the press office of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

Colonel Abdi Hossein Abadi Jawad from Iran and Major Yoon Jin wook from Korea successfully completed a one-year course in strategic management in military affairs at the «Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces» Faculty. The presentation of diplomas, badges and memorable gifts was the finale of their training.

Acting Director of the National Defence University, Colonel Aidar Berdibekov congratulated the graduates and stressed that high-quality specialists are a decisive factor in ensuring national security, despite the importance of modern weapons.

Colonel Berdibekov noted that military and political cooperation is a priority aspect of collaboration between Kazakhstan and other states. Military personnel training plays an important role in promoting allied relations among nations, as vividly exemplified by this year’s graduation of officers.

The foreign graduates expressed gratitude to the heads and teachers of the National Defence University for training. Major Yoon Jin wook noted that he was proud to be the first graduate from Korea and had gained valuable experience at the flagship of military education in Kazakhstan. He expressed gratitude to the people of Kazakhstan for their hospitality.
