Five new professions to be taught in Kyrgyzstan

It is planned to establish a university of innovations and IT medicine at the Ala-Too International University in Kyrgyzstan. Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Imanaliev made this statement at the Ministry board meeting, the press office of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

The new university will train specialists in five new areas: artificial intelligence, urban studies, climate change, logistics and IT medicine.

The Memorandum on the establishment of joint lyceums of primary vocational education with Russia, Uzbekistan and China was signed. 8 colleges in the Republic were certified as centres of excellence.

The Centre of M. Lomonosov Moscow State University is set up at the Osh State University in Kyrgyzstan, and it is planned to open a branch of the Moscow State University in Karakol in the near future. The agreement with RF President Vladimir Putin is to be signed during his visit to the Republic in October.

The Minister noted that the Ministry of Education of Kyrgyzstan will turn 100 years old in 2024, and it is planned to hold the «Education for All — Opportunities for All!» Global Forum. These events are aimed at developing education and training qualified specialists in the country.
