President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Chung Woo-taik, who arrived in the country for an official visit, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects for promoting bilateral cooperation in all areas, including inter-parliamentary interaction. The President expressed hope that this visit would become an important event in the history of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and contribute to building up bilateral relations.
Japarov highlighted the importance of simplifying visa procedures for citizens of Kyrgyzstan who are visiting the Republic of Korea. Chung Woo-taik noted that the proposals of the Kyrgyz side on this issue will be submitted to the authorities of Korea for consideration.
President Japarov invited President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan at any convenient time.
