Russian servicemen deliver humanitarian aid to Tajik village

Servicemen of the Russian military base in Tajikistan continue to provide humanitarian assistance to local residents in need. Recently, they have delivered humanitarian aid to Ganchin village, where some families are in a difficult life situation, the press office of the RF Ministry of Defence reported to CentralAsia.news.

The large families with five or more children received the food kits containing cereals, canned food, flour, vegetable oil, dried fruits, vegetables and other essential foods. This assistance has come in very handy for the families who are hardly meeting their basic needs.

The head of the village expressed gratitude to the command of the Russian military base on behalf of all residents of the village for providing support. The personnel of the Russian military base in Tajikistan have been helping low-income families, people with disabilities, orphanages and shelters for several years.

Military Base 201 in Tajikistan is Russia’s largest military facility outside its borders. It includes the motorized rifle, tank, artillery, reconnaissance, air defence, NBC protection and communications units. The military personnel actively interact and provide assistance to local residents in various areas, contributing to strengthening friendly relations between Russia and Tajikistan.
