Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Zambry Abdul Kadir held a working meeting and signed an important document on partnerships between the foreign ministries of the two countries, the press office of the Government of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Bakhtiyor Saidov stressed the importance of this meeting and expressed his joy at the arrival of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in Tashkent. He noted that the meeting was fruitful, and the talks focused on promoting partnerships between the two countries. The important outcomes of the meeting included the signing of the Cooperation Programme between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Malaysia for 2023-2026.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues, including the development of economic diplomacy and the intensification of cooperation in the tourism industry. They considered building up existing contractual relations between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
