Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Novosibirsk Aibek Aidarbekov arrived in the Altai Republic for a working visit. He was received by Deputy Chairperson of the Government Dinara Kultueva. They noted the need to intensify cooperation in economy, culture and education, the press office the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
They discussed the opportunities for mutual supplies of products and cooperation in animal husbandry and agriculture. The emphasis was placed on the prospects of partnerships in the tourism industry through intensifying cooperation among industry enterprises and companies.
The diplomatic representative and the Deputy Chairperson of the Government noted the cultural and historical affinities of the Kyrgyz and Altai peoples. In this regard, the interlocutors emphasised the need to build up relations within the Altai civilization and related peoples of the Altaic language family congress.
Aibek Aidarbekov met with the heads of the Gorno-Altai State University (GAGU). The University showed interest in admitting a large number of students from Kyrgyzstan.
