On July 1, the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) launched the ASTANA. 25 JYL collectible coin to celebrate the anniversary of the capital of Kazakhstan, the press office of NBK reported to CentralAsia.news.
The new coin from the Outstanding Events and People series will be available for purchase on Monday, July 3. It can be bought on the official website of the Bank of Kazakhstan.
The ASTANA. 25 JYL coin is made of nickel silver alloy MN 25 and have a mass of 15 grams. Its diameter is 33 millimetres, and the coin is brilliant uncirculated. The face value is 100 tenge, and the coin has a limited circulation of 20,000 copies.
According to NBK, the ASTANA. 25 JYL coin is a legal means of payment throughout the Republic. They also emphasised that the coin can be used for all types of payments and can be credited to bank accounts.
As was reported, Astana celebrated its 25th anniversary. The city administration arranged solemn wedding ceremonies on a boat to mark the holiday.
