Aviation universities of Russia and Kazakhstan enhance cooperation

The Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation and the Civil Aviation Academy of the Republic of Kazakhstan continue to enhance long-standing and close ties, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

This week Rectors of the two universities Boris Eliseyev and Beken Seidakhmetov have held a regular meeting to discuss the possibilities of unifying curricula and joint aviation training activities.

Rector of MSTU GA Boris Eliseyev noted that lecturers and students of the Civil Aviation Academy of Kazakhstan are frequent participants in international science conferences at MSTU GA. Currently, 40 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are studying at the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation.

The interlocutors emphasised the importance of developing innovative training programmes and independent accreditation procedures, as well as promptly adjusting the aviation employee training system to the employer’s needs. MSTU GA offered its counterparts from Kazakhstan several promising topics for joint applied research, including the development of a methodology for creating the flight safety systems for unmanned aircraft systems operators and evaluating civil aviation safety levels using factor analysis.
