On June 24, the graduation ceremony of young officers from Lieutenant General Kalyynur Usenbekov Military Institute of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan took place on the Ala-Too Square in Bishkek, the press office of the Ministry of Defence of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The Secretary of State of Kyrgyzstan, the Minister of Defence, the Mayor of Bishkek, veterans of the Armed Forces and relatives and friends came to congratulate the graduates.
The graduates saluted the banner of their educational institution and received lieutenant stars and diplomas of higher education. The Minister of Defence of Kyrgyzstan awarded the three students, whose had gained the outstanding achievements and graduated with honours.
Minister of Defence Baktybek Bekbolotov congratulated the young lieutenants on the successful graduation from the military educational institution and emphasised their important role in protecting the sovereignty of the state, calling on them to serve honestly and wholeheartedly for the benefit of the Republic.
After the traditional ceremony, the young officers said goodbye to the Battle Banner of the Military Institute and marched solemnly across the square. The festive event ended with an officer waltz performed by the graduates with the students of the Kyrgyz Medical Academy.
