Trade House of Uzbekistan in Lithuania opens solemnly

On June 22, the Trade House of Uzbekistan UZ Euro Trade House opened in Vilnius. Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Gairat Fozilov, who is in Lithuania on a working visit, attended the opening ceremony. The participants in the event noted a wide potential for expanding trade between the two countries, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.

It was noted that the launch of such a vitally demanded mechanism to support bilateral trade is viewed as a reflection of growing contacts and comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Lithuania.

It was emphasised that the activities of the Trade House will significantly intensify partnerships and substantive dialogue between the business communities of the two countries.

Fazilov held meetings with Deputy Minister of Economy and Innovation of Lithuania Egle Markeviciute and President of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists Vidmantas Janulyavičius.

The parties focused on intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, investment, information and communication and green technology sectors.
