A delegation of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moscow made a working trip to Kaluga Region of the Russian Federation. The diplomats met with the Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic and the local officials. The talks focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The delegates visited the new office of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic, where the guests were informed about his work. They discussed further cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres during a meeting with the Minister of Internal Policy and Mass Communications of Kaluga Region.
Particular attention was paid to the possibility of launching coastal and combined flights between the cities of Kyrgyzstan and Kaluga. An exchange of views on the establishment of a structured organisation of Kyrgyz citizens in Kaluga Region took place.
The programme of the visit also included the visits to the prisons where the convicted citizens of Kyrgyzstan are kept.
