On June 20, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan during his visit to Abu Dhabi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote on his social media page.
«Relations are rapidly developing in trade, investment, innovation, green energy, agriculture, logistics, transport and many other sectors,» the message says.
The expanded agenda of the talks included the proposals for the intensification of bilateral cooperation and the enhancement of dialogue at the regional and international levels.
The interlocutors identified the tasks of strengthening contacts between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the UAE to enrich mutually beneficial partnerships.
As was reported, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan began his visit to Abu Dhabi with a meeting with Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazroui.
