Turkmen delegation, consisting of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, arrived in the Islamic Republic of Iran. They took part in the conference dedicated to the issues of developing trade relations between the countries. This was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the MFA of Turkmenistan.
The event was dedicated to the topic «Export and trade opportunities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan». It was held in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province. Its participants considered aspects of further interstate cooperation between states in the field of entrepreneurship.
Turkmen businessmen also participated in the trade and economic events in other cities of Iran. They got acquainted with the work of production and construction industrial organizations in North Khorasan Province and the exhibition of construction goods in Gurgen.
In May, 2023, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov paid an official visit to Iran. During the corresponding trip, the states signed documents on cooperation in energy, customs, healthcare, and education.
