On June 15, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli Committee of Tajikistan on International Affairs, Public Associations and Information Saidmurod Fattokhzoda met with a delegation of the State Duma of Russia headed by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Defence, Coordinator of the Deputies’ Group for relations with the Parliament of Tajikistan Yuri Shvytkin, the Khovar National News Agency of Tajikistan reported referring to the Press Secretary of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
The interlocutors focused on the prospects for promoting bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest, in particular inter-parliamentary cooperation.
They emphasised that the mutual visits of parliamentarians have created conditions conducive to effectively expanding Tajikistan-Russia partnerships in all areas.
On that day, Chairperson of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli Committee on Science, Education, Culture and Youth Policy Nasiba Sodiki held talks with the Russian delegation on key issues on the bilateral agenda.
