Vice President of Indonesia Ma’ruf Amin and his spouse Wury Ma’ruf Amin arrived in Uzbekistan. The programme of the visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan includes a visit to the International Tourist Centre in Samarkand, the press office of the Government of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev and other officials greeted the Vice President of Indonesia at the airport. The foreign guest will spend several days in the Republic, until June 16.
Ma’ruf Amin will hold meetings with the Uzbek officials to discuss the prospects for bilateral cooperation. The Indonesian delegation will visit the International Tourist Centre in Samarkand, where guests will visit the major tourist attraction. A meeting with representatives of the Samarkand Region Hokimiyat is expected to take place.
