RF Ministry of Emergency Situations to set up National Rescuer Training Centre in Tajikistan

The RF Ministry of Emergency Situations will provide assistance to Tajik counterparts by setting up the National Rescuer Training Centre in the Republic, CentralAsia.news reports citing the press office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

Minister Alexander Kurenkov met with the counterparts from Tajikistan during the XIV International Salon «Integrated Security — 2023», which is taking place in Moscow these days. They discussed the opening of the National Rescuer Training Centre in Tajikistan and support for the initiative of the RF Emergencies Ministry to equip the Centre with devices and rescue operations simulators.

The RF Minister of Emergency Situations discussed professional training issues with Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defence under the Government of Tajikistan Rustam Nazarzoda.

«At present, Tajik young specialists and honoured professionals in their field continue studying at universities and institutions of the RF Ministry of Emergency Situations,» Kurenkov said, expressing readiness to consider increasing the number of trainees and conducting short-term courses for specialists of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defence.
