On June 2, Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeev held meetings with the top managers of agricultural companies and major agricultural holdings of Russia during his working visit to Moscow, the press office of the Ministry reports.
The Minister met with the representatives of Gardens of Stavropol, Miratorg, CP Foods Russia, Rus Agro and Dominant. The representatives of Russian agribusiness were informed about the measures of state support for investment projects in Kazakhstan
The talks with the top managers of the Gardens of Stavropol group of companies focused on promoting cooperation in intensive horticulture. Minister Karashukeev informed the Russian agricultural producers about the development of this sector in Kazakhstan, the increased number of horticultural farms, the areas for berry crops and state support for gardeners.
The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan discussed the prospects for establishing partnerships with PhosAgro-Region (one of the largest fertilizer suppliers on the Russian market) and Damate (meat processing).
