Emomali Rahmon appoints new deputy foreign ministers and ambassadors

On May 31, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed the decrees on the dismissal and removal from office of diplomats during a government meeting, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.

Rahmon signed the government decrees on the dismissal of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs Huseynozod Muzafar Mahmurod and Sheralizod Sharaf Ahmadjon. They were relieved of their posts due to the transition to another job and appointed ambassadors to foreign countries.

The President signed the decrees on the dismissal of the ambassadors of Tajikistan in five foreign countries.

Erkinhon Rahmatullozoda was relieved of his post as ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the European Union and NATO due to his retirement.

The President removed Ambassador to Turkmenistan Farrukh Sharfizoda from his post and appointed Vafo Niyatbekzoda to this post.

Salokhiddin Amriddinzoda replaced Yusuf Sharifzoda on the post of the diplomatic representative in the Republic in Korea.

Two representatives of Tajikistan abroad left their posts due to retirement.
