Dushanbe is hosting the 11th International Fair «Russian-Belarusian Education. Tajikistan». The first part of the event ended at the National Library of Tajikistan on May 21, the press office of the RF Embassy in Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The event gives visitors an opportunity to learn about the current fields of study at 39 universities in Russia and 10 universities in Belarus, as well as communicate with representatives of these educational institutions. On May 23, the educational fair will be waiting for visitors at the Youth Palace in Khujand.
RF Ambassador Semyon Grigoriev noted that more than 28,000 citizens of Tajikistan are studying in Russia this academic year, which is 5,000 students more than a year ago. He noted that the number of Tajik students studying at Russian universities will continue to grow, as statistics show the effectiveness of this work.
Grigoriev noted, the Russian-Belarusian Education. Tajikistan International Fair is an important event of education and humanitarian cooperation among Russia, Belarus and Tajikistan. It is a significant stage in the implementation of the high-level agreements to create a common educational environment.
