Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Germany. There he visited the horse breeding complex. The head of the highest representative body of people’s power met with local experts. They discussed the issues of cooperation in the horse breeding field, as reported by the electronic newspaper «Golden Age».Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the peculiarities of horse training methods, horse breeds that are grown on the territory of the complex. He highly appreciated the condition of the horses and shared the experience of Turkmenistan in the relevant direction. It was noted that German horse breeders often visit the Central Asian country. The head of the Halk Maslakhaty pointed out the expediency of developing equestrian tourism within the cooperation between the countries.
Berdimuhamedov noted that in honor of the holiday of the Turkmen horse, the 13th meeting of the International Association of Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding was held in Ashgabat. It was attended by specialists and scientists from various countries. As part of the decree of the Turkmen leader, a number of foreign and domestic horse breeders received the title «Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan». The official also spoke about the success of the Turkmen team of equestrian games «Galkynysh», which has repeatedly won international competitions.
The head of the Halk Maslakhaty invited German specialists to take part in the events dedicated to the opening of Arkadag city. He noted that there is a monument to the world record holder, the Akhan horse, in the settlement. The construction of the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annaev, the Research and Production Center for Horse Breeding and the State Equestrian Circus named after Gyorogly is underway.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also presented his books dedicated to horses to the representatives of the German horse breeding complex. They noted the pricelessness of the works.
