On April 13-14, a Tajik delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in a regular meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers, at which important issues on the current agenda of the Commonwealth of Independent States were discussed, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
In his speech, the Minister highlighted Tajikistan’s views on the prospects of cooperation within the CIS in line with the updated Concept of Further Development of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The participants approved the report on the implementation of the Plan of multi-level political consultations within the CIS for 2022 and reviewed the report on the implementation of the Action Programme to enhance partnership among the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomats approved the Regulations on the CIS Sports Games among children with disabilities and took decisions on the declaration of the cities in the Member States as cultural, sports and youth capitals of the CIS.
