Employees of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan met with Alessia Castelfranco, the representative of the Development Fund of the International Organization for Migration. They considered issues related to the development of the cooperation. Emphasis was also placed on the current level of partnership between Turkmenistan and the International Organization for Migration. The representative of the IOM Development Fund pointed out the interest of the organization in expanding its cooperation with the Central Asian country. The participants of the meeting agreed to hold events to strengthen relevant ties.
In March of this year, representatives of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan met with the IOM Sub-Regional Coordinator for Central Asia Zeynal Hajiyev. They discussed the improvement of migration legislation in the country.
