Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic arrived in Dushanbe for an official visit. He was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin. Dacic noted that friendly relations between the two countries have not brought concrete results for a long time, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia reported to CentralAsia.news.
The foreign minister of the European country highlighted the need to set up a joint committee on economic cooperation. He focused on the prospects of Tajikistan-Servia partnerships in the agricultural, tourism, energy, sports and cultural sectors.
The interlocutors considered signing new agreements and intensifying political consultations.
Ivica Dacic met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. The Tajik leader said Tajikistan is ready to take measures to improve bilateral friendly relations. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia invited the leader of Tajikistan to pay an official visit to Belgrade.
