On April 6, Head of Khatlon Region of Tajikistan Davlatali Said held a meeting with a delegation from Saudi Arabia. The parties expressed belief that this visit of the Saudi delegation to the region will make a huge contribution to the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation, the creation of joint ventures and the implementation of investment projects, the Khovar News Agency reported.
«An important factor in building up cooperation is cultural, humanitarian and educational ties between the two states. In this regard, the Days of Culture of Saudi Arabia in Tajikistan have been held several times,» Said said, addressing the guests.
The Tajik official noted that Khatlon Region is one of the largest regions of Tajikistan that has huge resources and ample opportunities for partnerships.
The parties noted that the two countries have huge prospects for cooperation in the tourism industry, which is an important sector of the Tajikistan economy. In this regard, the participants of the meeting agreed to elaborate on the relevant issues.
