Six new enterprises put into operation in Khorezm Region of Uzbekistan

On March 31, Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the launch ceremony of six new enterprises, whose representatives told the President about their capabilities via videoconference, during his visit to Khorezm. The President put into operation six enterprises in Khorezm Region by pressing the symbolic start button, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The new enterprises included Eko Obi Hayot that produces gypsum board in Urgench, Zakirov that produce self-tapping screws in Urgench Region, the second stage of the Khiva carpet factory, Koba teks that produces fabrics in Bagat Region, Horazm Solt Buznes that produces technical salts in Urgench Region and Horezmtex Fashion that produces garments and knitwear in Khanka Region.

Mirziyoyev visited the Yangibozor Textile Agrocluster LLC textile enterprise to learn about its activities. It was noted that modern equipment is installed at the enterprise that costs over 13 billion soums. Its production capacity is 5 million knitted goods per year. It will export 65% of knitted goods.

Ciurrently, about 500 women work at the enterprise. The President warmly talked to them and learned about the manufacturing process at the enterprise.
